The warmth of Friendships and winter coats....

Over the last couple of years Rose and Thao have struck up quite a friendship. They genuinely enjoy each others company and look forward to catching up, it's lovely to see.

The enormous differences in their worlds seem to fall away and they are just two young girls who like to laugh and do each others hair.   But as you look closer the differences become more apparent.

This photo was taken on a very cold and wet Hanoi morning. Thao was wearing only a thin tracksuit top and sandals, while Rose was all rugged up against the cold. We learned that Thao did not even own a winter coat.

Some things are easily remedied...
