What's your idea of a Brighter Tomorrow?....

We asked that question of local school children, and we received some beautiful responses!...

The drawing competition for our A Brighter Tomorrow event at the Australian Embassy this evening has drawn some fabulous responses.  It will be a difficult choice for judges selecting the winners... but every child attending the event will receive a prize for their picture.

100% of all funds raised will go to seriously ill children at the hospital

We look forward to seeing you there!!

Kind regards

She's going to have A Brighter Tomorrow! .....

I'd like to introduce you to little Khoi, we met her yesterday. She's actually about 8 weeks old although she looks like a newborn, until you look closely, there's a very sharp little mind there!
.
Khoi really connected as she took in my blond hair and round eyes, she looked at me, looked back at her mum, with a what is this? expression on her little face, then she slowly offered a smile.

Khoi's sharp mind will have the opportunity to develop well thanks to sponsorship that will fund the medical support she will need her entire life. It is not complicated medical support, she simply has to take medicines every day to stay healthy and alive.

Khoi was diagnosed with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) an endocrine disorder that is certainly life threatening without treatment. Unfortunately, that basic medical treatment is far beyond the resources of the poverty stricken families we are working with.

Khoi is one of many children with this disorder that we would like to help, we are expanding our Christine Edith sponsorship programme to include a number of children diagnosed with CAH.

Without support, the prognosis for these children is devastating, with support there is 100% chance of a normal, healthy life.

It's mind boggling really!

If you would like to sponsor a child like Khoi...

I hope all is well in your world.

Kind regards
Alison & Rose
